How to Conduct Transcoding Using Wirecast?
To run transcoding with Wirecast,
Proceed to Livebox and make your own station.
Today visit the Wirecast primary window, and then click on the icon to incorporate your origin.
  • Many options to add your source appears.
  • To capture and add your USB webcam source, you can click the option Video Capture and to stream live your local files, click the Add Media File option and select your local files.
  • Your source is added. As you wanted to live stream click the icon  to push your source to Live Broadcast Area.
  • After pushing your source to live broadcast area, click Output located at the top left side.
  • Under output’s pulled-down menu, click Output Settings.
  • A Select an Output Destination dialog box opens, where choose your destination as RTMP Server and click OK, and a new output setting tab opens.
  • Now go to Manage Channels from Livebox navigation menu and copy the streaming RTMP URL.
  • Then paste the RTMP Streaming URL in the Address box and enter the stream key in Stream bar and give OK
Now click the stream icon from the top left side to start streaming.
To check your live stream go to Livebox Channel Dashboard and click play to preview your live stream.
Then go to Manage Channels from the navigation menu under which click Transcoding.
A Transcoding page opens up. Under Select a Channel, select the channel where streaming is on.
In Output Channels, select the channel where the video has to be transcoded. Then give Turn on near transcoding.
Once you give a turn on, the new options for transcoding show up, where you can set the Preset, and then click Save.
Note: Both Transcode Output URL and Transcode Embed Code are generated by Livebox.
After clicking save, give Service Restart to get your changes applied and to start off with your transcoding.
Copy the Transcode Output URL and enter in the new page of your browser to view the player and your streaming quality. You can check your transcoding quality near the bottom right corner.


Go to Viewers Report to check your RTMP stats or you can even check your streaming statistics by typing, e.g., yourservername.com/stats in the new page of your browser. It shows audio and video bitrate of both output and input channels.

Creating a User at the  Livebox  TV A User in the Livebox TV can be produced in either manner – the consumer itself can register via the Livebox TV signup portal or the admin can also manually create an individual by providing the user’s credentials. To manually create your user, Visit Users in the navigation menu. In  User  click the  Add User  option. Enter your username, Email, set password, and phone number. Then give  Submit . Your user is created. Now go to  Manage User  to view your user list. You can also edit your user information based upon your need. If the user registers using the signup portal, then the user gets added to your user’s list from where you subscribe the user to your  Livebox  TV.
